Subash breaches the code of conduct

Nepal’s Under-19 off break bowler, Subash Bhandari has received a demerit point and reprimand for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup match against Pakistan in East London on 24 January.

The incident occurred at the end of the 14th over of Pakistan’s innings when Bhandari threw the ball inappropriately towards batter Shahzaib Khan, hitting him on the forearm.

Subash admitted the offense and a maximum 50% penalty will be cut from his match fee. He will be banned for a match if he receives three more demerit points within the next 24 months.

Subash has picked four wickets in three matches so far for Nepal in the ongoing Under-19 World Cup.
