Gautam Buddha International T20 cricket from Sunday

First Wai Wai Gautam Buddha International T20 cricket tournament will kick off from Sunday at Taulihawa. The tournament with a slogan of “Tourism with Sports” will be participated by 12 teams, seven from Nepal and five from India.

 

According to a press meet organized on Friday all the preparations regarding the tournamnet has been completed. Organizers also informed that the winner will get a purse of Rs 1,60,00 along with trophies while runner up will be awarded with Rs one lakh. Likewise man of the match on every game will be handed Rs five thousands. Best bowler, best batsman and best fielder of the tournament each will get Rs ten thousands.

 

According to organizers two international standard pitches has been made targeting the tournament. Likewise the ground and boundaries have been completed for the tournament.

 

The tournament will be participated by Tribhuwan Army Club, Mahabir cricket academy, Janakpur National Cricket committee, Birgunj cricket academy, Khukuri cricket club, Bhairahawa, Dhangadi cricket academy and Kapivastu Youth cricket development academy from Nepal. Likewise  Rajasthan national cricket committee, Delhi cricket federation, Hariyana cricket council, Gorakhpur cricket club and Lakhnau cricket committee are the participating teams from India.

 

The tournament is being organized by Youth Cricket Development Academy is one of the biggest tournament organized outside Kathmandu. The budget of the tournament is Rs 16 lakhs.
