The National Sports Council on Sunday decided to honour the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier entering Nepali national cricket team with Rs 350,000 to each member. Nepal had entered the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier after entering the final of the ICC World Cricket League Division-III on Saturday. The sports governing body approved the decision in its board meeting on Sunday and will now forward the proposal to the government. The Nepali national team was also rewarded with Rs 300,000 each after winning ICC World Cricket League Division-IV title in Malaysia last year. Nepal are facing Uganda in the final of Division-III in Bermuda on Sunday. With the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) also set to honour the team, the national cricket team members are certain to hit a good jackpot after they return from Bermuda. CAN had also provided the national team with Rs 50,000 to each members after Nepal finished runners up in the recently held ACC Twenty20 Cup in Kathmandu. Nepal had lost to Afghanistan in the final match of the ACC Twenty20 Cup.
